4. Appointments and Bookings
Booking: Appointments may be made by calling either clinic directly, by submitting the online contact form, or through any online booking system operated by the clinic. A booking is confirmed once it has been acknowledged by a member of our team.
Attendance: We ask that patients arrive on time for their appointments. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session to avoid delays for other patients.
Cancellations and No-Shows: We understand that plans change. If you are unable to attend your appointment, please contact us as early as possible so that the time can be offered to another patient.
Right to Refuse or Discontinue Treatment: We reserve the right to decline or discontinue treatment where it is not clinically appropriate, where a patient presents a risk to the safety of staff or other patients, or where a patient's behaviour is abusive or threatening.
5. Fees and Payment
Session Fee: The standard fee for a 40-minute physiotherapy session is $60 FJD. Fees for specialist assessments, home visits, or other services may differ. Current fees will always be confirmed at the time of booking.
Payment: Payment is due at the time of the appointment. We accept cash, M-Paisa, and card.
Insurance and Health Funds: If you intend to claim through a health insurer or fund, it is your responsibility to confirm coverage with your insurer prior to your appointment. We are not responsible for any claim that is declined or partially covered by your insurer.
Home Visit Fees: Home visit appointments may attract an additional fee to cover travel time and logistics. This will be communicated clearly before your appointment is confirmed.
6. Patient Responsibilities
As a patient, you are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about your health, medical history, and current medications at the time of assessment. Withholding relevant information may affect the safety and effectiveness of your treatment.
You are responsible for following the advice, exercise programmes, and precautions provided by your physiotherapist. The clinic accepts no liability for outcomes resulting from the failure to follow clinical recommendations.
You are responsible for attending your appointments as scheduled or providing timely notice of cancellation.
7. Limitation of Liability
Physiotherapy Clinic Fiji PTE Limited and its staff provide services with reasonable care, skill, and clinical judgment. However, physiotherapy — like all health interventions — carries inherent risks and does not guarantee a specific outcome.
To the fullest extent permitted by Fijian law, the clinic is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from treatment received, failure to attend treatment, or reliance on information published on this website.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for gross negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
