You Shouldn't Have to Miss Treatment Because You Can't Get to the Clinic.

Home visit physiotherapy — the same hands-on standard of care, delivered to your door.

Physiotherapy requires consistency. Missed sessions slow recovery. For patients dealing with stroke, major surgery, severe mobility impairment, or age-related frailty — getting to a clinic for every appointment can be genuinely difficult or impossible.

That should not mean going without care.

Physiotherapy Clinic Fiji offers home visit physiotherapy for patients who cannot attend the clinic — bringing the same qualified, hands-on treatment directly to you.

Who Home Visits Are For

Home visits are not a convenience option. They are a genuine clinical service for patients whose circumstances make clinic attendance difficult or unsafe.

That includes patients in the early stages of stroke recovery, where transfers and transport carry real risk. Elderly patients with limited mobility or fall risk who cannot safely navigate transport or waiting rooms. Patients in the weeks following major orthopaedic or abdominal surgery, before they have recovered enough mobility to travel. Patients with advanced neurological conditions affecting function and independence. Postnatal patients in the weeks immediately following birth — particularly following a difficult delivery or caesarean — for whom leaving the house with a newborn is a significant undertaking.

If your situation doesn't fit neatly into any of those categories but you genuinely cannot attend the clinic, call us and explain. We will assess whether a home visit is appropriate.

What to Expect From a Home Visit

The clinical standard of a home visit is the same as in the clinic. Your physiotherapist will arrive equipped to conduct a full assessment and hands-on treatment. They will work with whatever space is available — a bedroom, a lounge, a clear floor area — and adapt the session to your home environment.

Treatment will typically involve myofascial release, manual mobilisation, guided exercise, and education for family members or carers where relevant. If imaging or further investigation is needed, your physiotherapist will advise accordingly and can liaise with your GP or specialist.

How to Arrange a Home Visit

Call your nearest clinic and explain your situation. Our team will ask a few questions to understand your condition and location, confirm availability, and schedule your visit.

📝 Home visit availability is subject to location and scheduling. Please call to confirm coverage in your area before booking.
